OUR DECLARATION
In what do we believe
We are not a political party. We are active Romanian citizens that have chosen not to passively wait for someone else to democratically pressure the state’s institutions to do their duty in relation to us.
We do not want to miss the chance to create more prosperity in Romania through an authentic democracy, participating as educated and well-informed citizens. Our civic action and not indifference, can positively influence the future!
HOW IT BEGAN
THE STORY OF THE FOUNDER
I’ve worked for over 29 years in Romania, as a practitioner in business law. Long enough to be able to distinguish between competence and authenticity in public functions and those who only simulate it. It is clear to me when a public decision is made mainly in the interest of the citizens and when it is made for other interests (legitimate or not). When a law is thought out in a balanced way, by consulting those who are affected, or when it is created specifically to please certain people. When an institution is doing its duty and when it fails, beyond what the propaganda is saying.
Dissatisfaction without action doesn’t change anything. Romania needs people who take on the responsibility to do even a modicum of good, not just to wait/demand for others to do it.
This is how Ba da, putem! (Indeed, we can!) came about. From the conviction that politicians and those in public functions will be stimulated to do better in public service when citizens refuse to simply watch and constantly pressure them in a democratic way.
The project is financed from private sources (our own resources, private donations and contributions from those who support our ideas).

WHAT WE BELIEVE IN
Our fundamental values
There are three values that guide us in what we do. These are not slogans. They are red lines we are not willing to cross.
Honesty
01 - Honesty
We say what we think, do what we say, even when it isn’t easy. We do not make promises we cannot uphold. We admit when we are wrong and correct what we can.
02 - Civic courage
Concrete action is harder than simply expressing an opinion. We are not satisfied only with expressing our indignation, we take legal action in a concrete manner in supporting freedom and democracy.
03 - Concrete action
Every initiative of ours has measurable objectives, action plans and deadlines.
